LEMONWOOD cut leaf

Lemongrass is an aromatic plant widely used in Southeast Asian cuisine. Cymbopogon citratus, which has many virtues in phytotherapy, is commonly used in herbal teas for its digestive (antispasmodic and soothing properties), hypotensive and anti-inflammatory properties, and to treat stress, anxiety and insomnia (hypotensive and antispasmodic effect). It is also effective in treating flu, fever and colds (bactericidal action). Applications: Lemongrass can be added to bath water to combat nervous fatigue and fever episodes. In case of flu or cold, we recommend 3 cups of lemongrass infusion (1 tablespoon per cup) a day, or one cup after a meal to aid digestion. Precautions to be taken: Keep away from children. Pregnant or breast-feeding women and children under three years of age should not consume citronella. Before using internally, we recommend filtering lemongrass infusions, as they contain microfilaments that can irritate the throat.
